Afternoon..
A rather belated post for my take on the Counterfeit kit for July. I selected my papers and embellishments last week but I have been away this week so haven't had a chance to blog it before now. Due to limited time to scrap this month I have kept my papers to a minimum and added just my usual box of embellishments I usually take to a crop with me. So.. I have therefore called this kit 'Brief Encounters' as it is so limited.
I will probably add more papers as I need them but do expect to see layouts with lots of white space to make up for my lack of papers. lol
Here it is.. short and sweet with lots of pink, turquoise and white and I've added some yellow too. I know I have some sailing photos to use this month too so I've added that lovely pice of boating paper too.
I based it on this collection here
Its not identical I grant you..but it's what I want to work with..so it is what it is.

Making a Counterfeit Kit that will get used is a GOOD thing! Love the name as well :)
ReplyDeleteYour little box of goodies is intriguing & the boat paper is FAB.
I see you've posted some pages already, too, so I'm moving on.
I love that you switched out some of the colors to make a kit that is very much your own. I cannot wait to see what you do with that boating paper! I struggle with full scene type papers!! Great kit!
ReplyDeleteLoving the grey and yellow in your kit! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks good, I like your handy embellishment container!
ReplyDeleteI like this kit a lot, a bit more subdued than the original but with really great combinations. Well kitted!
ReplyDeleteI rather like your kit myself :) The fun mix of colors together makes for better papers :)
