This week I've been uber busy making Christmas cards.. mostly at a workshop on Saturday, but then a few more on my own on home on Sunday too.
Of course, if you don't know what I'm talking about.. then hop on over to Julias at The Stamping Ground to see what its all about.
So, without further ado here is a picture of my desk with things in a bit of disarray for me.. but hey ho... I'm still charging around like mad after Mum so I can't keep on top of everything! Sadly we had some bad news this week... her chance of recovery and survival is only 20% so I'm crafting like mad to take my mind off things. :0(
Here is the overall collection of cards and treat boxes I made at Sue McDonalds workshop .. check out her blog here later she's an independent Stampin' Up demonstrator and her classes are fab so if you're local to her (Orpington, Kent) I'm sure she'd love to see some new faces.
Then a close up of some of them- most are using the Cookie Cutter Stamp Set and punch from Stampin' Up, but there are other random stamps sets that were used but I'm afraid I don't know the names of them all. The papers in this one were also Stampin' Up.. (in this years catalogue too)
This one: Papers from Kaisercraft Silent Night collection from Merly Impressions
More Stampin' Up papers and stamps in this one
This one is using the new Sizzix by Stampin' Up- Cable Knit embossing folder.. I just had to buy that one.. cute isn't it?
This one is a spinner card..hence the odd angle of the penguin! lol
My personal favourite, using the Cookie Cutter stamp and punch.. (I had to make an envelope too as it's a big card)
and finally a card I made for The Paper Craft Crew weekly challenge. This week we were inspired to make a card representing Auntumn..so here it is.. for a male friends birthday next week. I was also honoured to be chosen to be in their Top Five last week too.. chuffed!
Well, apart from chasing around after Mum we are also currently in the middle of decorating my kitchen too.. all the units are turning from Ash wood to a pale grey.. I am loving the look of it so far! I can't wait to see it finished. Here it is so far
Here it is before
I'll do 'finished' pictures next week.. God willing
No scrapbooking for me this week because I'm off on retreat on Friday so I'm saving my LO's until then.. so I should have a bumper crop of LO's to share with you next week.
So that's it for now.. do let me know you've visited and please do tell me which cards are your favourite as I still have a lot to make so a few duplicates will be in order! Lol
Until then..have a fab week everyone and I'll see you all on your own blogs.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your mum, I went through a similar time earlier in the year with my dad. It's tough and there's no shame at all in escaping from all the emotion by doing a bit of crafting. I really do love your cards, the little houses in particular :-)
