Good morning hot deskers... where has this last week gone? I can't believe yet another week ahs gone by! So, today I am joining in Julias What's on Your Wordesk Wednesday again with her idea over on The Stamping Ground blog.

Last week I was a lot more able to comment on all your fabulous blogs.. (apologies if I missed some of you) as Mum seems to be a little better and I have more time again. That said it hasn't stopped me from getting crafty again this week even though I was less in need of  de-stressing! Lol

So.. without further ado here is my desk yesterday afternoon.. it was soo messy because I have been frantically crafting this week on account that I am away next week so I needed to get ahead with some Chinese Whisper cards and layouts I needed to finish before I went.

I have also made a start on my Christmas cards and as, you may know, I now design for Merly Impressions  so I have been using the new Kaisercraft range to make lots of things..many of which I can't share with you yet, but here are ones I can. These have all been made with the Silent Night collection Paper Pad from their new collections.. lovely designs with a traditional theme and all the add ons too. Also you might like to know I've just taken delivery of the MOST amazing set of new gel pens.. also from Kaisercraft.. and they are just FABULOUS! .. they really are stunning..(and come in a great box where they don't all move about  so they will be travelling with me next week) they have neon pens, glitter pens, metallic pens and pastel pens..something for every occasion. I am so impressed with them... just have a look!

and here are the cards I made.. using the pens too.

Also, over the weekend, Hey Little Magpie held a weekend of challenges to help get us inspired and they provided sketches, bingo challenges etc so I joined in some of the fun. I don't think I'll get all the challenges done before I go away but I'll give it a good try!

Here are some of the layouts I made for the challenges..and a couple of challenges over on UKS too.

I used my Counterfeit Kit from the CKCB for this one, the 'DT Member' one and the 'I Made it' one too

Finally I made two more cards, one for a friends birthday and one for the same friend who has just become a Nanny for the second time so I made a card for her and her hubby using my Cameo

and that's it.. not much to show you again..lol!

I'm sorry I will not get to join in next week.. I have no doubt I will visit your blogs though while lazing on my sun lounger..ha ha. Have a great week..until then.. I'm off to have a snoop at all your work spaces. Thanks for the follows everyone!

Also you might like to know I've just taken delivery of the MOST amazing set of new gel pens.. also from Kaisercraft.. and they are just FABULOUS! At £34.95 they are amazing value for 48 pens.. they are stunning..(and come in a great box where they don't all move about  so they will be travelling with me next week) they have neon pens, glitter pens, metallic pens and pastel pens..something for every occasion. I am so impressed with them that I have shared them here.I got them from Meryl too

and here are the cards I made.. using the pens to highlight features on the cards.

Good morning hot deskers...
Not sure what I mean? Hop on over to Julias gaff (lol)...for the What's on Your Wordesk Wednesday to find out more.

I hope I'm going to have more time to visit all your desks this week as Mum seems so much better and is therefore taking less time to care for.

This week, instead of my table, I am showing you my desk again.. all neat and tidy with some unfinished Christmas cards.. I can't show them to you yet though as they are for my DT at Merly Impressions for October. I'm getting ahead as I am going away in a couple of weeks and want them finished before I go.

You may remember that I had a 'play date' (lol) last week so here is what I made then.. two little canvases with a Christmas theme. I'm going to get a couple of frames to set them in.

I also had a crop on Saturday and, as I've been getting good use out of my newly rediscovered Cameo, I managed 6 layouts..yep 6! I'm so pleased. I cut the files before I  went of course.

First this one.. using the sketch for Stuck?! Challenge Blog.. using fabric as the large central grey strip too. Photo taken back in June for our 36th Wedding Anniversary

Then this one also celebrating our wedding anniversary in June.

I also made this one for the White and One challenge blog.. this month yellow was the order of the day so here is mine. I used yellow mist on the paper and added the Cameo SVG cut then layered all the soft elements, tag and title.

Then this one of my little GD Amber when I (rather wickedly) gave her a piece of lemon to try! her face was a picture so of course it had to be scrapped. I used my kit from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this one.

Then this which was a photo I was really keen to scrap as it was a really great moment when DH and GD were playing hide and seek around a huge tree in Penshurst Place. I used my Counterfeit Kit again for this one.

I used a sketch from Turtle Crafts UK to join in there new weekly Thursdayskecth challenge. They are a new monthly kit shop so if you're in to scrapbooking they are well worth a look.

Then this one for another sketch challenge over on the Stick it Down blog. My GD watering the plants (well her feet actually..lol) and again I used my Counterfeit Kit.

Finally I made a quick tag too.. here for a beach themed challenge on FB.

So that's it! Not much to see... lol

Thanks for stopping by.. do call back soon.

Counterfeit Kit

Good afternoon all

Today I am bringing you another Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog kit that I have called 'Just Peachy Keen'

Want to know more? Well do hop on over to the CKCB when you have finished here and you will find out all about the idea and the kit that I have emulated this month. It is one of Felicitys Janes kits (a new one on me) and it is called 'Maggie'

So without further ado.. here is what I was counterfeiting

From this I chose these papers

These sticker sheets

and these embellishments

I have lots of gold embellies too but I haven't got around to digging them out yet.. but do expect to see some gold and a little bit of copper too. If you look really closely you will see that a couple of my light turquoise sheets have gold or copper in them. I included them in last months kit, but, sadly, I failed miserably in using hardly any of my kit as I was running about after my poorly Mum. I hope she's finally on the mend now so I am hoping that I may get to use more of 'Just Peachy Keen'

Peach is a colour way down my list of 'favourites' (in fact it doesn't feature at all!) so I have a few pages in my stash that have been languishing there for eons! I do hope this will encourage me to finally use them!

So that's it.. I'm at a crop tomorrow and it is all packed away in readiness to use it..so hopefully I will make a good start on it? Let's hope so anyway.

Thanks for stopping by!
